Favorite Audiobooks

While prepping for the Bound by Prophecy audiobook, I was reminded of a guest post I'd done at The Haunted Rose a while back listing some of my favorite audio performances. Here's a bit of an updated list below:

The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis

The complete edition has a wonderful set of narrators and beautiful cover art. I believe you can only get this version at iTunes

Hounded by Kevin Hearne

Narrated by Luke Daniels.
Best. Dog. Ever.

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater

This is a wonderful story, beautifully told. Loved everything about it.

Driving Mr. Dead by Molly Harper

Harper is hilarious and narrator Amanda Ronconi nails the Half-Moon Hollow characters.
Find it on Audible

Watership Down by Richard Adams

Beautiful. Hear it at Audible

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card

Card always has brilliant narrators.
Check it out on Audible

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

A completely unexpected sci-fi retelling. So much fun.

My Life as a White Trash Zombie by Diana Rowland

I would have never read this - because brains are gross. But main character Angel thinks so too, and that's what makes her story so funny.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

Atypical and otherworldly. Some of the most delicious writing out there.
Listen to Kristine Hvam perform it at Audible

I'd love to hear some of your favorite narrators/performances - just leave a message in the comments below.

Bound by Prophecy will be available in audio by August. Watch here for more details, as well as some goodies and giveaways :)
